XÜLASƏ
Qədim keçmişə malik olan Gəncə şəhərinin müxtəlif zamanlarda yerdəyişmələrinin səbəbləri, ərazinin tarixi-coğrafi cəhətdən dəyişməsinə şərait yaratmış şərtlər çoxsaylı elmi mənbələr, yazılı məxəzlər, arxeoloji və etnoqrafik maddi sübutlar əsasında tədqiq edilmişdir. Son iki əsrdə şəhərin ərazisində istər yerli, istərsə də xarici tədqiqatçılar, arxeoloqlar tərəfindən həyata keçirilmiş lokal, həmçinin beynəlxalq arxeoloji-etnoqrafik ekspedisiyalar, qazıntı işləri nəticəsində aşkarlanmış müxtəlif maddi-mədəniyyət nümunələri əsasında Gəncənin şəhər mədəniyyəti mərkəzi kimi tarixi-xronoloji yaşının, fərqli mərhələlərdə yerdəyişmələrinin göstəriciləri elmi dəlillələrə istinad edilərək araşdırılmışdır. Gəncə şəhərinin tarixi yerdəyişmələrinin ardıcıllığı xronoloji dövrləşdirilməyə uyğun olaraq tutarlı elmi mənbələr, təkzibedilməz sənədlər və əlyazmalara əsaslanmaqla öyrənilmişdir

SUMMARY
On the basis of numerous scientific works, written sources, archaeological and ethnographic material evidence, the reasons for the displacement of Ganja city, which has a very ancient and honorable historical past, at different times, the conditions that made possible the historical and geographical change of the area, are studied. Based on various local and international archaeological and ethnographic expeditions and excavations conducted by local and foreign researchers and archaeologists in the territory of city over the past two centuries, the historical and chronological age of Ganja as an urban cultural center and indicators of its relocation at different stages were studied with reference to scientific data. In the scientific work, a sequence of the historical relocations of the city of Ganja was compiled on the basis of relevant scientific sources, irrefutable documents and manuscripts in accordance with chronological periodization

РЕЗЮМЕ
На основе многочисленных научных трудов, письменных источников, археологических и этнографических материальных свидетельств изучены основные причины, условия, сделавшие возможным историко-географическое изменение местности города в разное время, а также исторического переселения города Гянджа, имеющего очень древнее и почетное историческое прошлое. На основе местных и международных археолого-этнографических экспедиций и раскопок, проведенных местными и зарубежными исследователями и археологами на территории города в течение последних двух столетий, историко-хронологический возраст Гянджи как городского культурного центра и его перемещения на разных этапах были исследованы со ссылкой на научные данные. Составлена последовательность исторических переселений города Гянджа на основе соответствующих научных источников, неопровержимых документов и рукописей, в соответствии с хронологической периодизацией.
